I took the plunge and bought and iMac 3.06 GHz 24 "with 4 MB of RAM and 1TB hard drive. I opted for the wireless mouse, it gives you some freedom of movement, but stayed with the draft standard keyboard as plugs in under the unit. even liked the 24 "for back office operations.
On the box with the iMac is easy to configure to connect the power cord and the keyboard and turn it on. The configuration of the wireless mouse is simple and will even pick up your wireless network. The installation is done almost automatically and easily. I got an error trying to connect via wireless Linksys, but has pressed the connect button on the router and now everything is over.
I had to get my mind around working with the iMac has been working on Windows PC for several years. The transition is simple and the quality of software. The answer is screen excellent.The is fantastic.
I would recommend the iMac if you seriously enjoy your computer.
