We decided to buy my grandparents computer before you submit their e-mail and the Internet. So far, this was an excellent choice. The TouchSmart software provides an integrated and easy to run GUI applications with a simple touch. The screen is large and clear, another thing we wanted. While a netbook could open a browser and email client all we ever need all the services on this machine could not be more favorable to the novice user. I totally agree to what we needed.
That said, I would not recommend it to an advanced user, unless they specify only was the ability of touch (which is very sensitive and well integrated). The TouchSmart software is not as smooth as I expect and feels a bit 'the production rushed if it is a little bug. For example, if you press the Windows key while it is running you get a picture of a mobile user and nothing else. It is difficult to distinguish between scrolling and selection. I quickly became frustrated with her as I configured. But then I suppose the most advanced users would have little use for this feature anyways, so do not consider this operation-breaker.
Overall, display very strong, very easy to use, good use of touch technology, the building's poor software.
